Boca Raton
Overview
Boca Raton sits at the southern end of Palm Beach County, bordering Broward to the south. Planned in part by architect Addison Mizner in the 1920s, it retains a distinctive Mediterranean Revival character and a reputation for manicured, upscale neighborhoods.
Lifestyle
Residents enjoy a string of guarded oceanfront parks, championship golf, and dining and shopping at Mizner Park and Town Center. The city balances a polished, resort-like atmosphere with strong cultural institutions, including an art museum and an amphitheater.
Housing
The housing stock spans gated country-club communities, waterfront estates along the Intracoastal, and established neighborhoods of single-family homes, alongside a growing number of downtown condominiums. Architectural styles range from 1920s Mediterranean Revival originals to contemporary new construction.
