Is there a Brightline station in Boca Raton, and where do you park?

Short answer

Yes, Brightline opened its Boca Raton station at 101 NW 4th Street, next to the downtown library and across from Mizner Park, with the first day of service on December 21, 2022. The station has an attached 455-space parking garage, and Brightline lists Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Orlando among its destinations.

Where is the station and how did it come about?

In December 2019 the Boca Raton City Council approved a long-term land lease with Brightline for a station and parking garage near the City's Downtown Library, on a 1.8-acre site near Palmetto Park Road and Dixie Highway. Under that agreement Brightline would fully fund and operate the station, while the City would fund most of the garage's design and construction.

Brightline's December 2022 ribbon-cutting release describes a 22,000-square-foot station at 101 NW 4th Street, next to the downtown library and across from Mizner Park, with service starting December 21, 2022.[1][2]

Where do you park?

Per Brightline's 2022 opening release, the garage has 455 spaces and first-floor spaces are reserved for Brightline guests and library visitors. Brightline's station page lists parking as open 24 hours and lets riders add parking at checkout so the same ticket opens the garage. Station hours are 5:30 AM daily until the last train departure.[2][3]

Where can you go from Boca Raton?

Brightline lists Orlando, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura and Miami as its destinations. At opening, Brightline put the trip from Boca Raton to MiamiCentral at about 60 minutes, and its Orlando page describes the Orlando station at Orlando International Airport with a ride of about two hours to West Palm Beach.
